A Mad Tea-Party

Well hello there, dear Alice,
I’m so glad you came,
and let me put these
chemicals in your brain.
Now, they should kick
in in a minute or two,
and when they do you
will know just what to do.

So abandon your heart and soul.
Come on down the rabbit hole.
Oh dear Alice, take my hand.
Follow me to Wonderland.

And when you arrive
you will feel so alive
in the odd company
of one mad tea-party.

I know where you’re going,
and I know what you’ll do,
but can you simply tell me:
who are you?

Good for the mind
and bad for the heart.
The time has come
to tear the world apart.
One pill makes you large,
and one pill makes you small,
and the pill I’m about to give you
will splatter your brain upon the wall.

Abandon your heart and soul.
Come on down the rabbit hole.
Oh dear Alice, can’t you see?
Everything is now topsy
turvy.
My insanity
has made me see:
It’s time for tea.

Oh frabjous day.
Callooh! Callay!
The red queen is coming,
so polish your venire.
Oh, don’t have a fear.
I’m behind you, my dear.

Just look into my eyes,
and you’ll start to realize
that this is the place to be,
so welcome to a mad tea-party.

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat.
How I wonder what you’re at.
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea-tray in the sky…
